ok so yes, I am now veryu satisfied with Gimp! Thanks to ~xSelo94 (https://www.deviantart.com/xselo94) I have figured everything out, and it's working great! everyone's giving me so many great comments and such good advice that my skills as an educated editor are deffinately developing! teehee
